Community Adventure Van
Our Community Adventure Van brings together mixed groups of children from our various centres and brings them into the community to make new connections, explore, and learn with community-based programming.
Guided by accredited educators and shaped by children’s interests, outings have included visits to the Capilano Fish Hatchery, Lynn Canyon Ecology Centre, Maplewood Flats Bird Sanctuary, Ambleside beach, John Lawson park, local fire-halls and businesses, as well as Stanley Park, SFU Trottier Observatory, and the Maritime Museum - with many more to come.
At Twig + Owl, we believe that every day is an opportunity to nurture learning, grow, create lasting friendships, and build community. Our Community Adventure Van is one of the many ways we turn outdoor, play-based learning into real connections, curiosity, and community.
